She is the Artistic Director for the SAT Playwrights, a group of south Texas script writers. The SAT Playwrights are in-residence at The San Pedro Playhouse and hold their monthly salons in the Cellar Theater.

The SAT Playwrights host an annual ten-minute festival for members to see their work on stage during the annual SAT Playwrights PlayFest.

Her short scripts include The Out-of-Towners, A Winner's Tale, and Once Upon A Table. San Antonio Theatre Coalition's annual production of Theatre ASAP 2007 produced Devil or Angel.

The Steven Stoli Playhouse in San Antonio, Texas has produced two of Mitchell-Reichert's full-length plays Little Old Ladies on the Lamb and her holiday play, Silver Wings.

She has written two historical dramas, A Gathering of Booths and Death Finds a King. Mitchell-Reichert had the good fortune to have her plays done in a number of American cities. The Theatre Studio, Inc. in New York City as part of their Playtime Series in March 2002 premiered her one-act play, The Ruby. It was a personal pleasure to use students from Texas State University where she was an adjunct instructor.

The equity company at the Great American History Theatre in St. Paul, Minnesota produced her ten-minute play, Black Russians, in 2002. The one-act drama, The Gift, was considered for production in the 2003 Edinburgh Festival.

Screenwriter

Mitchell-Reichert's ten-minute comedy script Never on Friday was produced by none other than San Antonio's Indie Godmother and founder of the Independent Film Makers Association of San Antonio (IFMASA), Mary Harder. The film was screened in May 2006.

She continues to work on a variety of short scripts while she finishes her next feature length script titled Vision Quest . About an Englishman in search of a brother who doesn't want to be found in today's American West.
